Fun and learning curve -- except with an odd number of players I had the short straw and sat out for a round.
Got very bored with my deck changes will be a foot -- may even try running a different band for a bit
Got creamed by the signar wizards first round. just could not rattle the bones of the skeletons in the second round - Skaven just don't hit hard enough against those 3 wounds models Had a bye so went shopping and visited GW Final round, held my own against Signar wizards in some of the lowest scoring games ever - this went the full best of 3.
I have a second set of swag [different print edition cards] - will give to the club for you to share out amongst yourselves.
There was the winner whose deck just gave him glory and one person said they avoid the cards where you makka da action and gaining the glory becomes a die roll.
2 people played with the Chaos dog and one brave person ran the Goblins. There was another -- more successful Skaven player...NO Dwarves, Eyes of Nine, Orks. Chap whom came second used the original Signar space marines - but they worked well with his choice of cards.
I did buy a red pack of Nightvault dice - because I liked em -- oh and this shop sells dice [D8's / D12's etc. etc] individually.
No hot drinks - but that's coming
Only 10% discount off GW stuff -- still cheaper than just around the corner
