Some new thoughts about troops

So a few days ago I had this dumb idea about Troops (or was it last week now?). Anyway, when painting larger units maybe I should start painting them as troops. That way I can field small amounts of figures when just a few are painted. I'll be filling a smaller movement tray. As miniatures are completed I can move them to the final movement tray and add new unpainted miniatures in to the troops. Also this means I can keep special miniatures a surprise rather than letting people see them early.

So far the only downside to this plan is that I don't have very many troop trays. I think I might have two if I'm lucky and I'd be needing around four or more for this plan.
