The following warbands are available and fit the theme of Mordheim (narratively or geographically). Some warbands don't fit (like High Elves, Amazons, Arabyans, Norse etc). I've tried to accommodate as many as possible but if something you really want to play didn't quite make the list then have a word with me and we'll see if we can make it fit.
The core 6 (really core 8)
Cult of the Possessed
Mercenaries (Marienburgers, Middenheimers, Reiklanders)
Sisters of Sigmar
Skaven
Undead
Witch Hunters
Then the following
Group 1a
Averlanders (might be a little far from home but still nearer to home than Marienburgers or Middenheimers)
Beastmen Raiders
Carnival of Chaos
Dwarf Treasure Hunters (White Dwarf 1 month after the game came out)
Orc Mob (would prefer to see more of a goblins lead by orcs warband than this orc heavy list with a few supporting goblins but it could work)
Ostlanders (again, Ostermark is near Mordheim)
Group 1b
Horned Hunters (from Talabecland itself)
Ostermarkers
Outlaws of Stirwood Forest (yes, it's a literal Robin Hood warband including 1 priest)
Pit Fighters (the Town Crier 21 version, not the Town Crier 14 version)
Skaven of Clan Pestilens
Group 1c
Night Goblins (either list but let me know which one you're going with as they are different)
Restless Dead (might reconsider this one)
Group 2a
Dwarf Slayer Cult (might reconsider this, it's basically lots of Gotreks with lots of Felix's (both human and dwarf witnesses to record their deeds)
Sylvanian Grave Robbers
Halflings (just make sure we know which list you're using)
Mootlanders (just make sure we know which list you're using)
Protectorate of Sigmar (basically witch hunters with a twist, more knight, less hunters - might need to reconsider this one if it creates a redundancy)
Skaven Clan Moulder (may need to reconsider if it's all rat ogres and mutant things)
Snotlings (there's a snotling warband?!)
Sorcerous Society (basically a Frostgrave warband)
Vampire Hunters of Sylvania
Group 2b
Adventurers (blatantly the Warhammer Quest heroes)
Militant Mootlanders (more hobbits - from Marienburg this time, powerful heroes, less henchman variety)
Underworld Alliance (if it's not too broken)
Watchmen
Group 3
Necromancer warband (maybe)
Ostermark Roadwardens (maybe)
