Angry klaxons ring out across the shelter heralding in the end of a work shift. Grumpy factory workers stumble to their homes, or to an assortment of drinking dens, brothels, or other places of vice (often all held within the same establishment). But as the end of a work cycle heralds in the beginning of a new, ancient houses are at work who's machinations the meagre thugs that act out such tasks have little understanding. They do not know House Escher's drugs help build house Goliath's muscles, they do not know house Van Saar's nutrients enable house Escher's women to conceive (their males damaged beyond repair by centuries of drug testing). They do not know these things and neither do they care.
All they care about is that when the alarm bells ring, it's time to fight.
Well, well, well, round up everybody for the first Turf War season at the Raw Boars - creatively named Boar Tree sector. Since the initial Turf War will be fairly short I'm going to recommend we each try to get at least one starter game in with the initial starting gangs out the box before digging in good and proper. I can't remember, are we switching to Konflict 47 in January or February? If it's January then we might as well just knuckle down and play a few starter games in December without trying to evolve into a campaign just yet. We'll probably still be getting the hang of the rules by the time we're due to swap systems again.
That being said I like the idea of weekly campaign reports as recommended in the Gang War expansion book so I might as well sling a few reports in here after each week for everyone to enjoy. Who's gang beat whom, any truly memorable moments etc. Hopefully keeping it all fun and Necromunda themed as well.
