I spent some time trying to decide if the Warcraft Orcs should be the heavily armoured orcs who look like they've spent too long in 40k or the Savage Orcs from the other card deck. I eventually decided that, whatever they'd be, I'd need more of them and that, since the Nagash deck is just a necromancer and some skeletons, I could easily field my old Vanguard warband for now while I wait for the Birdy Boys to be released.
And I don’t mean for another Scottish Referendum 🙄
Yh matey , im in , on a starter, and bens in on a starter raff is making it up chas was gona see if he cud find a CC i think
Myself, im well up for a load of it although it is primarily "chaos warbanding" i think it is a fantasy skirmish game much akin to KT maybe and yes after a couple of games , i think several people will be up for a campaign
Already rumours on FB that some retailers have run out of preorders so there must be " want "for the game, at least the FLGS s wont be sat on dead money in loadsa stock. but it does back up the fact that if you want it and its GW , then you gota buy it when it first comes out, geedub, great marketing now
It’s actually called the Lego model in economics terms I think. You do a limited run of something and that makes people buy it at release. The run might be 1 year or 2 weeks but knowing you won’t be able to get it sometimes makes you want it more now. Similar thing with Kickstarter exclusive stuff
The more i see for this game , the more excited i get for its release. I really hope the game play lives upto my expectation. i really like the dice mechanic for initiative / abilities, the "extra dice to sway a little, the cards add a varialble to teh game. And not having to wait a year ( KS etc), only two weeks from announcement of release, and the new gangs faction released two weeks after.
