But I'm on photobucket and my pictures are still showing? ? And I don't pay no one nuffink! Apparently they mad ethe change a couple of weeks ago and only just got 'round to me. Be careful. You might be next. They won't stop you linking to pictures (yet). They'll just stop you embedding them in forum posts because, you know, that's the main reason to ever put them up on photobucket in the first place.

Oh I always click on "get link" and copy the link so that might be the difference. When my mate was running his forum he said that made hosting cheaper as the forum was only hosting the link not the pic.

Yep all buggered picture wise. Pay $399 and third party hosting will be back I don't think so! It's almost as if they're trying to go out of business. Basically I'm sure it's fine if you're working for a big company but if you're just some unemployed disabled bloke like me you're going to have some serious trouble raising the funds. In the meantime here's the links to the pictures I tried to share earlier. I apologise in advance for any adverts they're going to cram on the screen due to my sharing links instead of the pictures directly. Side by side shot comparing horse size to base size.Top down shot with fingers and thumbs trying to see how much overhang there might be on the flanks.Another top down shot with better finger and thumb positioning.Side shot demonstrating horse length and ideal hoof positioning. Many of the horses do have extended forelegs but I think they're all going to fit on the bases and rank up fairly nicely. I might need to be a little careful how I angle them on the bases. I also need to check what kind of overhang their lances have as this may necessitate placing them a little further back on their bases. I may need to buy another 2 packs (6 more knights) for a total of 21 so I can field the full unit of 20. I was originally intending to play 15 in a 5 by 3 formation but discovered that Kings of War cavalry are incapable of riding more than 2 ranks deep. I could field them as a 10 and a 5 (and the unit of 10 seems to work quite well with the 20 formation being a bit too powerful on the constantly denied charges that they try to pull off) but I'll stick a few together and see. On a side note the angels will not be pretending that 5 are 3 and ranking up closely. They are large and will be needing monster bases. So I'll have 15 angels to play with .

Problem solved. New problem created.
I've been trying to work out how to put my 19 "penitents" together and if I wanted to get hold of 21 more for a horde.
The "musician" is going to take up at least two bases. That makes it easier to fill a unit of 20. Now I need to decide if I want to horde them up or not as the regiment might be a bit too fragile. Hordes are rather unwieldy 'though and I think we could all do with getting more horde practice in.
As far as the musician goes I've got her head on. I've got the big cooking pan in place. Two of the children are also there. Now I just need to add her hand holding the big spoon to beat the pot with, the third kid on the side and then both his arms (one with a smaller pan and one with a spoon beating the pan). She might need to take up 3 bases in an L shape or overlap onto the rim of the movement tray a bit. I'm definitely going to have fun getting these based up.

Did I share this picture at some point? It's a little outdated but not by much. Think of it as a very early work in progress shot. I've built at least one more since that picture was taken.

That moment when the angel keeps getting bigger and you haven't even put the arms on yet. Or the doves!
