it says its on the 6, i dont know if they can do different side, dont see why not, unless its something in teh void on the face
Six is crits. 1 doesn't do anything special. It's just as bad as 2. Having the six marked makes more sense for Warcry unless the 1 face is something that's obviously negative because of it being a miss.
For games in my garage I have a bunch of dice marked with “your face” instead of 1. Cue: “anything but your face.” “Your face won’t help you here” “The only thing that will stop you running is double your face” You’ll never hit with your face... Etc etc etc. No I’m not immature...definitely not.
I'd be thinking more along the lines of if the symbol would offset the balance of the die. Having more material removed from the face of the die would probably equate to the same weight as six pips much more often that it would equate to 1 (unless the holes were of unequal depth with caps and hollow gaps or something). Essentially if you've got a six opposite a big one then is it not a load die with a reduced chance of rolling in the two to five range? At least putting the special symbol on the six is replacing the heaviest engraving on the die (as each of the other sides have less pips).
That's always the way I've felt about dice with something special on the one face.
Oh no. Oh no. These are beautiful but my funds are limited. They'd make really nice archers for my Varangur 'though. Now Raging Heroes have done archers for their barbarian ladies as well! I must remind myself that the original barbarian ladies they did suffered from a little more flatmodelism than is usual for Raging Heroes miniatures, not just due to the cloaks. Archer stances with flat cloaks and bows might have even more flatmodelism to deal with.
