Coming soon to a tabletop near you - the Penitentiary Angels! Size comparison photograph included. Now while it would be obvious to use them as Escher the nuns seem to be all about the gun play. The sculpts were inspired by Catholic Nuns, the Mexican Day of the Dead festival and John Woo style slow motion gun balletic pieces. Which Necromunda faction from the legacy rules epitomises that most? Most people will probably think of the Delaque for that. So previously Orlocks were the bland everyman faction. Now they seem to be getting more of a distinct identity of their own. Not sure how their skills and equipment options will shape that just yet 'though. Goliath were the big boys (and their new stat lines definitely emphasise this), Escher were the girl gang, Van Saar were the tech heads, Delaque were the sneaky bastards and Cawdor were the religious nutters with the close combat weapons and flame throwers. Obviosuly Cawdor would be a good fit for the nuns but they aren't quite shooty enough. In terms of Primary shooting access Van Saar actually seem to get more of a shooting access than Delaque do. Interesting. Got any thoughts guys? Which faction do you think the Penitentiary Angels should be fielded as? In before anyone else suggests Goliaths for shits and giggles .
Size comparison photo attached (obviously the hair adds some height).

Does not matter when you brought them
it is when will you paint them that counts

Had a similar thought on mine but I thought Escher... Also have a unit of statuesque miniatures from bad squiddo... bought in impulse after a quiet show at Devizes one year. Several years ago... as you say it’s when you paint them that matters.
This month I’ve done another 5 zone mortalis tiles... I hate yellow.

I think Escher and would count the rosaries as shock whips which are a great weapon to deal with the low strength of eschers!
