Just thought I'd start to put my Shieldwolf Varangur stuff in here. There's been a wonderful video update today including close footage of the sprues. I'm going to include the four videos here then, in the next post, I'll include a list of all the stuff that I'll be getting (possibly with pictures).

So I should be getting .... 3 boxes of shieldmaidens with enough parts to make 60 angry barbarian women.... However, each box has enough parts to make 30 women if I'm willing to greenstuff one or two backs onto them. I might have to ask for help with that. Most will have swords, axes, spears etc with shields. The cloaks, crossbows and hooded heads are for the huntresses (they Night Stalkers in Kings of War). So that's going to be 90 foot troops.
I'll also have 2 Necromancer Maidens, 2 Druidesses, 4 heroines, the two headed dragon with rider, the Battle Yak (carried ammo and supplies on it's back), a 3 pack of ice warbear riders and the chief riding an ice warbear as well.
It's looking like late April delivery.

Probably May. I'm planning on starting a TGG2/Basilean thread some time soon as well and one for my dwarfs. Just a place to show things off, prompt discussion (or just jot down notes for future discussions on the actual game nights themselves). Additionally I'll be able to include painting & construction work in progress updates. Hopefully with pictures.

Look at this upcoming sculpt from Megalith Games. I think she'd fit right in to a Varangur force.

Incidentally, did anyone notice that the thread title was a reference to Mitch Benn's Ikea song?
We come from the lands of the snow and ice with gods of war and thunder, with a sweep of an oar we will reach your shore and pillage, rob, and plunder, we are ravagers of women, capturers of kings, but now my friends, to make amends, we fill your homes with lots of groovy things.
Iiiiikkkkeeeeeaaaaaaa!

Can a moderator move this thread to the Kings of War section please? Thanks.

Thankyou.
Now here is my two headed dragon from the same company. The legs were a bugger to connect as I had to basically do all four at once and the wrist on the left foreleg ended up looking very disconnected. There's space one one of the necks for a rider (with a spinal insert to plug the rider's hole should there not be one). The rider's hopefully coming later on with everything else.
How deep are the club's tubs? That wing tip is pushing 6" or maybe even 7".
Apparently photobucket's down for maintenance at the moment so I'll add the picture when I can.

There we go. So ... "how deep is your tub?" Just imagine that tub rhymes with love a bit. It already sort of does. Badly.

nice, but does the tree trunk have to be so long - it gets in the way of seeing the model

nice, but does the tree trunk have to be so long - it gets in the way of seeing the model Do you want different angles? I took pictures from multiple angels. There's a branch near the top that his left foreclaw rests on so the trunk probably does need to be that long. Having it come up between the necks also supports them and makes them less fragile as well. We'll see how it all looks with the rider on when she arrives.

so 25mm begat 28mm whom in turn begat 32mm
whose bastard children now measure up to wards 40mm
yet rule writers insist on ranking on 20mm bases.
Scale creep or what
